Mugician – FREE Guitar Synthesizer for iPad
Mugician for the iPad is a free electric guitar synthesizer app, aimed towards guitar players with real-world distorted sound.
Here is what the creator Rob Fielding has to say about Mugician:
You are able to play fretless on it. It will help you visualize scales, including quarter-tone scales which is not possible using a fretted guitar.
It needs and rewards practice. There aren’t any songbooks or chord guides, precisely what a real guitarist needs to play microtonal music in a keyboard-like format. Easy and dependable to always have inside your backpack, so that you can jack into the local PA system wihtout having to bring any gear along with you.
Check out the demo, sounds a bit like a 70’s prog-rock guitar solo but don’t let that put you off.
iPad – iDJ Music Mixing Station
Gulp, ok, this iPad DJ system certainly looks very cool, however it appears it’s only a design mockup at this stage. Hats off to Numark for starting the ball rolling, I’ve got a feeling this really could turn out to be awesome piece of kit.

This is what design site Yanko Design has to say regarding the Numark iPad DJ System idea:
I’m sure there are plenty of uses for your iPad but have you considered turning a DJ with one. Become the next big name with the iDJ Music Mixing Station for iPad.
A powerpacked DJ performance device with a dual-deck layout. Bringing down the neighborhood with your houseband mixing finesse or polishing your skills in piano drums and guitar, this is the device that helps you with both. The designers promise great feats with garage band and other apps, so are you willing to make some music?

Each and every audiophile must be in a state of excitement with the potential of this device, stay tuned!
